Zoe Veritas, MD is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.  Dr. Veritas was born and raised in Manhattan. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music where she graduated with both a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance.  While Dr. Veritas left the world of opera behind to pursue her medical degree, she continues to sing with her band around the city.

Dr. Veritas attended Drexel Univerisity College of Medicine where she graduated first in her class.  She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and earned numerous other academic awards.  She was also a Drexel University College of Medicine Humanities Scholar.   Upon graduation Dr. Veritas received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Award, presented by the American Medical Women’s Association to a woman graduating first in her medical class.

After graduating from medical school she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the St. Vincent’s Hospital.  Dr. Veritas received her board certification in dermatology after graduating in 2007 from the New York Medical College Dermatology Residency, where in her final year she was the Chief Resident.

Complementing her clinical practice, Dr. Veritas serves as an Assistant Attending physician at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, where she is directly involved in training dermatology residents.  She was honored to be awarded the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center Voluntary Faculty Teaching Award in 2011.

Dr. Veritas has been trained extensively in surgical and cosmetic procedures including Botox, Xeomin, Juvaderm, Belotero, Radiesse, chemical peels and sclerotherapy.  Dr. Veritas prides herself in creating great relationships with her patients while providing them excellent medical care.
